Hon En Mountain in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam has become an ideal destination for paragliders to have a bird’s-eye view of the beauty of the tourism city.

The moments of flying over and admiring rice fields and rivers excite many paragliders.

Landing after a flight with a pilot, Le Thuy Van, a tourist from southern Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, excitedly said, “For the first time, I have experienced paragliding over the Nha Trang sky, enjoying the stunning rice fields and villages below."

Besides professional athletes, many travelers, especially the young, have reached Nha Trang to experience paragliding over the past few years, said Do Van Tiep, director of Hon En Tourism and Adventure Sports Co. Ltd..

“Tourists do not need to have experience or skills to try paragliding as they will be accompanied by certified and experienced pilots,” Tiep added.

The company will provide tourists with equipment to take photos and film their journeys.

Luu Minh Hoang Son, technical director at Hon En Tourism and Adventure Sports Co. Ltd., said summer is the best time for paragliding.

“Paragliding is a type of adventure sport at first sight but it is extremely safe. Besides flying with pilots, tourists will be instructed to stay calm,” Son noted.

Just a 15-minute flight can grant paragliders splendid views of Nha Trang.

There are two kinds of paragliding for tourists’ choice: motorized and non-motorized paragliding.
