The administration of Binh Chanh District in suburban Ho Chi Minh City plans to open a quarter for night-time entertainment to both residents of the city and of neighboring provinces.
The municipal Department of Industry and Trade requested that relevant agencies study the plan to run the Trung Son night quarter in Binh Chanh on a trial basis before September 18 this year.
This plan was submitted by the Binh Chanh administration to the municipal People’s Committee on August 22 this year for consideration and approval.
According to the plan, the night quarter would be set up in the Trung Son residential area and likely become a top destination for residents of the city and neighboring localities, contributing to the district’s economic growth.
The residential area, which shares a border with District 4, District 5, District 7, District 8, Nha Be District, and some districts in neighboring Long An Province, has significant tourism potential, according to the Binh Chanh administration
Upon completion, the 26,300-square-meter Trung Son night quarter will feature entertainment, cultural, commercial services, as well as offer One Commune One Product items to visitors from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am every night.
It will also house a square where visitors can stroll, exercise, play, and participate in entertainment, cultural, and sporting events.
Food options from each of Vietnam’s three regions will also be available at the venue’s 92 national food stalls.
Another 19 food stalls will be dedicated to specilaites specifically from Binh Chanh and other areas of Ho Chi Minh City.
There will also be 50 souvenir booths and 91 commercial booths.
