Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022 named 4th runner-up at Miss Global 2023

Doan Thu Thuy, crowned Miss Fitness Vietnam in 2022, achieved the fourth runner-up position at the Miss Global 2023 beauty pageant during the finale held in Cambodia on Thursday.
In the grand finale, 70 participants showcased their prowess in swimsuit, evening gown, and Q&A competitions.
The top-five contestants advancing to the behavioral round comprised representatives from Samoa, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and Thailand.

Ultimately, Ashley Melendez from Puerto Rico emerged victorious, securing the Miss Global title.
The first runner-up title went to the Samoan beauty, while representatives from Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam claimed the second, third, and fourth runner-up positions, respectively.

The audience lamented Vietnam’s representative, Doan Thu Thuy, ending as the fourth runner-up due to shortcomings in her English proficiency.
They observed her confusion in the Q&A round as she was unable to fully articulate her answers.
Some viewers feel that the 28-year-old beauty could have benefited from utilizing a translator to enhance her performance.
