Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup’s subsidiary has broken ground on two resort complex projects in the north-central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
Vinpearl JSC of Vingroup JSC on Sunday held the groundbreaking ceremonies for these two resort complexes.
Of these, Vinpearl Cua Hoi is slated to be a combination of five-star hotels and high-class restaurants, villas, and entertainment areas. The complex is expected to open in Q3 2017.
Spanning 39 hectares, the complex will nestle at Cua Hoi Beach in Cua Lo Commune, 15 kilometers away from Vinh City, Nghe An, Vinpearl said, adding that the project’s total investment is VND900 billion (US$40.3million).
The other project, Vinpearl Cua Sot, located in Ha Tinh, will be built at Xuan Hai Beach in Loc Ha District in Q3 2016 and is scheduled to service visitors in Q3 2017.
Covering 16 hectares, Vinpearl Cua Sot will feature resort villas with pools and high-quality eateries, the company said on its website, revealing that the project’s total investment is nearly VND300 billion ($13.4 million).
“The two resort complexes will act as the pioneers in the provinces and they will promote beach resort tourism at the same time,” Nguyen Viet Quang, deputy chairman of Vingroup, stated.
