O2O Motorbike Service Station debuts in Vietnam
OKXE Vietnam officially put the OKXE Motorbike Service Station - OKXE Station into operation under the O2O model on May 27, 2022.

As the first motorbike service station in Vietnam operating under the O2O model, what does OKXE Station have to make a difference in the used motorbike market?

Vietnam has long been regarded as one of the world's leading motorbike consumption markets.

About 2.5 million two-wheelers were sold in 2021, according to a survey by the Vietnam Association of Motorbike Manufacturers (VAMM).

Every year, millions of new motorbikes are sold, along with a considerable number of used motorcycles that need to be transferred.

Recognizing the enormous potential of the used motorbike industry, OKXE Vietnam officially put the OKXE Motorbike Service Station - OKXE Station into operation under the O2O model on May 27, 2022.

What exactly is the O2O model?

Currently, the market is not lacking in services for people looking to buy and sell used motorbikes.

However, these services are primarily available in one of the two forms – online or physical locations such as shops or trading stations.

This trend still has many shortcomings that cause problems for users.

A used motorbike purchasing store, for example, will buy the motobike quickly, but the store will only buy it at a low price due to the high operating and rental costs.

As for purely online services such as classified advertising websites, people who want to buy used motorbikes have the advantage of finding many sellers at good prices.

However, they have a difficult time making appointments to see the vehicles with so many different motobike owners in so many different places.

For the first time ever, motorbike buyers in Vietnam can seamlessly benefit from both online – OKXE application – and offline – OKXE Motorbike Service Station.

Furthermore, inexperienced individual users face price pressure when selling or have to pay over the odds when purchasing used motorbikes.

With the first Online to Offline (O2O) model in Vietnam, OKXE promises to solve the aforementioned issues.

For the first time ever, motorbike buyers in Vietnam can seamlessly benefit from both online – OKXE application – and offline – OKXE Motorbike Service Station.

Accordingly, the motorbike seller only needs to bring the vehicle to OKXE Station and it will be checked for quality, refurbished clean, and photographed.

The station will then support the customer in getting the vehicle information to hundreds of thousands of people who are in need of buying a motorbike on the OKXE app.

Buyers can comfortably choose a motorbike at home and negotiate the price right on the app, before going to the Service Station to view multiple motorbikes at the same time and quickly and conveniently purchase the right one.

In addition, if customers need to refurbish or upgrade their vehicles, they can immediately use the service at OKXE Station.

Answer to the most difficult problem of the used motorbike market

For decades, the market has been confronted by a thorny problem: buyers are unable to evaluate the quality of an old motorbike, while individual sellers are unsure what to prove to buyers.

With OKXE Station's ‘Quality Assurance Check’ service for used motorbikes, those who want to sell their motorcycles will have their vehicles inspected and graded for quality by a reputable third party, allowing them to confidently offer a selling price.

On the other hand, buyers can feel assured, understand the value of the motorbike, and easily decide when there is a good price directly from the seller, without going through many intermediaries.

"I hope that the first Motorbike Service Station in Ho Chi Minh City officially put into operation will be the basis for OKXE to create a turning point for the used vehicle market,” said Trang Vu, vice-president of OKXE Vietnam.

“Now, the seller and the buyer have a reliable new bridge given the service chain, full and maximum support activities for the need to transfer used motorbikes.”

Are services at OKXE Station expensive?

Customers visiting OKXE Station can select single services or a ‘fast sale, good price’ package based on their needs and personal purposes.

They only have to pay between VND29,000-179,000 (US$1.25-7.72) for individual services; the fee is perfectly reasonable and comparable to the market price.

With the ‘fast sale, good price’ package service, the seller merely pays VND79,000 ($3.41) for vehicle inspection, whereas an additional fee of 2.5 percent of the vehicle's selling price is due only when the vehicle has been successfully sold.

This charge is extremely appealing when compared to the convenience and value it brings to the seller.

The service helps sellers with everything, including vehicle washing, photo shoots, sales posts, consulting prices, and especially promoting to hundreds of thousands of people who want to buy on the OKXE app.
