HCM CITY— Six hundred teachers at junior high school level will have their language and teaching skills improved under a training agreement signed on Saturday.
The agreement was signed by HCM City Department of Education and Training with the Viet Nam-USA Society English Centres.
The training programme set up under the agreement will help teachers adopt the latest, updated curricula and receive guidance on doing well at the First Certificate in English (FCE) exams.
Last year, the centres co-operated with the department to open training courses for 600 primary teachers. The courses will end this month.
The training agreement is one of many activities undertaken by the education department in implementing the 2020 National Foreign Language Project in HCM City.
