More than 1,300 disabled children have registered for a dance performance of South Korean rapper PSY’s global hit “Gangnam Style” at a camp for the disabled to be held next month in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event will be held by HCMC Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the city’s Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphan Children, the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/ Dioxin, the city’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, and Suoi Tien Culture and Tourism JSC. It will also feature outdoor activities as well as an area to display products made by disabled people.
The camp is expected to receive around 6,000 disabled people from southern cities and provinces.
It will take place on December 1 at the Suoi Tien Theme Park in Thu Duc District.
