The Electric SteamPunk show, which is set to kick off in Ho Chi Minh City on Aug 1, will feature sensual female DJs from electric music “kingdoms” in the world.
The show, to take place at Queen Hall, 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh, District 4, is a special occasion for local fans of Electric Dance Music.
The Steam Punk event will feature DJs Colleen Shannon (US), Miss Kelly Marie (UK), Roxy June (Thailand), Licca (Japan), and Suki (Hong Kong), who will “explode” the stage with their talents and bursting energy.
Local “dance pop queens” including Ho Ngoc Ha, Hoang Thuy Linh, Thu Thuy and Trang Phap will also perform at the show.
The organizer, YanTV, will also bring audiences an intriguing concept of fashion and art.
Inspired by Steampunk, a sub-genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery and may also incorporate additional elements from the genres of fantasy, horror and historical fiction, the show’s stage will be specially designed to immerse audiences into the unique atmosphere.
Amidst the atmosphere, the international DJs will shine with their fiery, impromptu performances based on their Vietnamese colleagues’ hit songs.
Tickets to the show are available for VND200,000 (US$9.5). Those interested can visit www.mox.vn/electricsteampunk and www.yan.vn/electric for further information.
