Int’l artists to perform for free in Vietnam metropolis tomorrow

Three internationally-famous artists will perform jazz and fusion music together in a free concert in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, according to the organizers.

The concert, to take place at 2:00 pm at 59 Cao Thang Street, District 3, will feature the performances of Italian keyboard player Marco Parisi, Australian bass guitarist Tass Petridis, and South Korean drummer Choi Chi Woo, said the organizers which are two Vietnamese firms and a music school.

Marco Parisi was the first Italian graduate in “Jazz Hammond Organ.”

Since May 2011, he has been on tour as keyboard player of the Studio3 band.

Tass Petridis, who now serves as dean of the guitar and bass faculty at Ho Chi Minh City-based MPU School of Music, is integral to the success of recent music shows in Vietnam.

Choi Chi Woo is one of Korea's most prominent jazz drummers, and known for his ability to bring all music fans closer to the genre of jazz with ease.
