A seasoned Italian photographer and trekker is currently in Vietnam to travel the country’s length on his Vespa scooter and capture some of its best moments.

Luca Bracali arrived in the country on Friday last week for his 10-day trek across it on his Vespa, an Italian hallmark of elegance, Cong An Nhan Dan (People’s Police) newspaper reported.

The trip is part of his much-loved “Planet Explorer” project, which has seen him travel to six other countries, namely Iceland, South Africa, the U.S., Greece, Morocco, and Norway, and capture the astounding landscape there with his lens.

The project stands out from others in that it produces a ‘live tour’ which is collaged by photos and footage taken by Bracali himself and his partners, according to local newswire Vietnamplus.

Bracali plans to launch an exhibition to display his works on Vietnam as well as its stunning landscape and cheery people right after his trip ends.

The 50-year-old photographer has worked as a journalist for several sports, travel, and culture magazines.

He has published five books and been awarded four international prizes for his photos and reports.

Over the past 25 years, Bracali has made trips to some 136 countries, using different kinds of transport means, including dog sleighs, balloons, and high-capacity motorbikes, and braving even the most unforgiving weather.
