Da Nang publishes visual tourism do’s and don’ts

Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 15:17 GMT+7

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City in central Vietnam on Tuesday released visual illustrations for the code of conduct related to local tourism.

The visual guide includes 12 friendly, well-designed photos, considered a pocket handbook for both locals and those who visit the central city.

According to the rules, tourists are required to respect local culture and tradition, be environmentally conscious, queue up in public spaces, and prioritize women and children.

Locals should not solicit tourists, the code of conduct states.

In July last year, the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued the code of conduct for local tourism, which has now been turned into a visual guide.

The code aims to raise people’s awareness of travel culture, and encourage people to behave politely when visiting local and foreign public spaces, newswire VnExpress reported.
