Fifty affluent Mongolian couples enjoyed a lavish and romantic Valentine’s Day aboard luxury yacht Nautilus, cruising the breathtaking seascape of Phu Quoc, an island city off the coast of Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam on Friday.

Nguyen Ha Trieu, operation director of the Nautilus yacht in Phu Quoc City said on Friday afternoon that the city boasts stunning beaches and charming islets in An Thoi Ward.

On Valentine’s Day, the Mongolian couples chose to enjoy a romantic night on the Nautilus yacht, immersing themselves in the magnificent scenery of Phu Quoc. 

“This is the first time that 50 Mongolian couples have opted to host their Valentine’s Day celebration on a yacht in Phu Quoc. 

“While on the yacht, they could watch the sunset and enjoy the stunning views of Phu Quoc,” he said.

The couples loved embracing a blend of Mongolian tradition and Vietnamese culture, with the yacht decorated with red roses, colorful candles and soft lighting to create a magical atmosphere. 

Vietnamese music and local delicacies further enhanced their experience, adding a unique cultural touch to their Valentine’s celebration.

“It’s so beautiful here in Phu Quoc. I’m really impressed by the seascape. Celebrating Valentine’s Day on this yacht has made me feel so happy,” Tserengiin Bymbasuren, a Mongolian tourist, shared.

Over 21,000 Mongolian tourists have visited Kien Giang Province since the start of 2024, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.

The province has been focusing on promoting Phu Quoc as a prime tourist destination, leveraging digital transformation in tourism and enhancing international integration. 

In addition, the province aims to develop Phu Quoc’s tourism brand, emphasizing its unique island resorts and eco-friendly travel options to draw more international visitors in the future.
