A small peaceful place ‘dyed’ green by bamboo trees is attracting foreign and local eco-tourists with its representation of the pure values and beauty of a typical Vietnamese village.
Triem Tay Village, located in Dien Ban Town, approximately two kilometers from the UNESCO-recognized Hoi An Ancient Town in the central province of Quang Nam, is an ‘oasis’ nestled along the iconic Thu Bon River, boasting pristine charm adorned with small meandering paths shaded by green bamboo trees.
The village has earned a reputation in recent years among holidaymakers as a countryside retreat where visitors can experience a variety of relaxing activities, such as unwinding in refreshing breezes, taking leisurely walks on the small country roads, and enjoying sunrise and sunset by the river.
A system of homestay and tourism services in the village offers guests the opportunity to partake in daily routines such as weaving sedge mattresses, cooking mi Quang – a signature noodle soup of the central region – and tending to ornamental plants and organic vegetables.
