Authorities in Ca Mau, Vietnam's southernmost province, confirmed on Monday that three local women died of alcohol poisoning after participating in a two-day drinking party.
The families of the deceased believed that alcohol poisoning was the cause of their death, the People’s Committee of Tan Hung Commune, Cai Nuoc District said, adding an autopsy was not required.
"After the incident, local police initiated an examination and reported to the local government on Monday morning," a representative of the Tan Hung People's Committee stated.
