The principal of an elementary and middle school in Hoa Binh Province, northern Vietnam has been arrested for sexually harassing two 15-year-old students at his office in school time.

B.C.T., the 52-year-old principal of Binh Son Elementary and Middle School in Hoa Binh’s Kim Boi District, is being investigated for lewdness against a person under the age of 16, local police said on Monday.

The case was processed following a report made on April 7 by Tr.T.H.N. and P.T.T., both of whom are 15 and are in grade ninth at B.C.T.’s school.

N. and T. told police officers that B.C.T. summoned them to his office during school time, and asked them about sex, used profanities and vulgar language, as well as groped and touched their private parts in the office.

The students then reported the incident to teachers in the school and their families.

T. visited the houses of the two students to apologize to them and their families later, admitting to the described actions and vowed to take responsibility.
