A drowsy driver ended up crashing his truck into a house in Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam on Sunday, claiming the life of a person and seriously injuring another. 

Police in Hon Dat District, Kien Giang Province said the same day that the accident happened at about 4:35 am, when Nguyen Ba H., 41, was driving the truck from Rach Gia City to Ha Tien City, located in the same province.

As the driver fell asleep, the vehicle hit the house of Nguyen Thi A. in Hon Dat District, killing a 45-year-old woman and injuring another 41-year-old woman.

The collision also damaged many assets, such as the house, motorbikes, and some furniture.

Local police are further investigating the crash.
