Police in northern Vietnam on Saturday arrested a 23-year-old man who slammed his car into two traffic police officers, thus injuring them, after the traffic policemen asked him to stop for a breath alcohol test on Friday.
According to police officers, the case happened on Khanh Hoa Street in Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province on Friday night.
At the time, local traffic police officers were conducting breath alcohol content testing for suspected DUI drivers when they signaled the car driver, Pham Dinh Huan, a resident of Hanoi, to stop for such a test.

The two police officers were injured, so they were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The Duy Tien Town police later hunted the car driver and caught Huan after five hours.
At the police station, he admitted his violation.
