-- Residents in Tam Nong District, Dong Thap Province, situated in the southern region, have expressed their concerns over a contaminated farmland plot. Despite being registered as a site for earthworm farming, a company has converted the 8,000-square-meter rice field into a landfil.

-- Khanh Hoa Province in south-central Vietnam will organize the first International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang City from April 27 to May 1. The fest is planned to take place annually in the city to bring locals and tourists to the jazz music world.
