-- Domestic steel firms are struggling to maintain their operations and retain workers amid the soaring import of Chinese steel. Vietnam bought 1.8 million metric tons of steel from China in the first two months of 2024, a three-fold year-on-year increase in volume, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

-- Khanh Hoa Province in south-central Vietnam will organize the first International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang City from April 27 to May 1. The fest is planned to take place annually in the city to bring locals and tourists to the jazz music world.
