-- A project to expand the two-lane Cam Lo - La Son expressway, which connects Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue Provinces in central Vietnam, will be implemented and soon be completed in 2025, according to the Ministry of Transport.

-- The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport will restrict or bar vehicles from entering multiple downtown streets such as Nguyen Hue, Le Loi, Vo Thi Sau, and Ba Huyen Thanh Quan from today until Sunday.

-- As many as 40 transport operators in Ho Chi Minh City had their business licenses revoked from June to August, according to the municipal Department of Transport. These companies did not have any transport business activity for six months from the day of receiving their business licenses or stopped operating for six consecutive months.

-- Hanoi will enhance inspection over food safety at all hotels that are producing mooncakes to serve the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, which is held on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month and falls on September 17 this year.

-- An Indian billionaire will bring his 4,500 workers to Vietnam to explore Hanoi, Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province, and Ninh Binh Province for a company trip from August 27 to September 7.

-- The Khanh Hoa Union of Science & Technology Associations has proposed listing the circular Dam Market in Nha Trang City, south-central Khanh Hoa Province as an architectural structure with special value.

-- The eighth Vietnam Festival will be held in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture on September 7 and 8 to help strengthen bonds between the two nations, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

-- The Da Nang branch of Indovina Bank has disclosed its intention to auction 90 seaside apartments in Hoi An, an internationally famous tourist city in Quang Nam Province, central Vietnam, to recover debts.

-- Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) is working to leave the Unlisted Public Company Market, or UPCoM, for the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) this year.
