Two children were killed when their 40-square-meter residence went up in flames in the wee hours of Wednesday in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, southern Vietnam.

The blaze broke out at around 3:30 am in a single-story house with a loft at 136/7 Bach Dang Street in the provincial city of Vung Tau, where a family of seven was staying.

Dozens of firefighters and two fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, where they brought the fire under control at 4:40 am the same day.
