Ho Chi Minh City authorities will conduct inspections at 27 non-public high schools, including several with foreign elements, as part of an assessment of infrastructure, educational services, and compliance with regulations.

The inspections, scheduled for March 5 to 20, will cover institutions such as Horizon International Bilingual School, The Asian International School, Emasi Van Phuc, Emasi Nam Long, Royal School, and Vinschool.

Officials from the municipal Department of Education and Training will evaluate investment plans, teaching equipment, land use rights, and tuition fee declarations, as well as student enrollment policies for the 2024-25 school year.

Duong Tri Dung, deputy director of the municipal Department of Education and Training, said the review aims to assess infrastructure conditions and ensure compliance with the 2018 general education program.

Based on findings, the department will set enrollment targets for the 2025-26 academic year.

The inspections are not expected to disrupt school operations but will be conducted objectively and transparently, Dung said, adding that any violations or shortcomings will be addressed promptly.
