-- Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet have advised passengers to remove power banks from their carry-on baggage, place them in easily accessible areas, and refrain from using them on board.

-- The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control reported on Tuesday that the city recorded 348 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease between March 17 and 23, marking an 84.4-percent increase compared to the average of the previous four weeks.

-- Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism sector earned VND56.662 trillion (US$2.2 billion) in January-March, a 26.7-percent increase from the same period last year, driven by cultural events and growth in international visitors, according to the city’s Department of Tourism.

-- Hanoi welcomed 7.3 million visitors and earned nearly VND29.93 trillion ($1.17 billion) in revenue in January-March, according to a report from the Hanoi Department of Tourism on Tuesday.
