The Vietnamese national basketball team has had an online talk with their fans to share about their journey in 2021 as well as their plans for 2022.

The national team previously participated in the VBA Premier Bubble Games 2021 to sharpen their skills and gain extra experience ahead of the SEA Games 31, which is expected to begin in May.

It was quite a memorable and emotional journey for the team as they had to compete without an audience and were isolated from everyone outside of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Viet Capital Bank has been supporting the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA) as well as the Vietnamese men's and women's basketball teams over the past years with the determination to join hands with the Vietnam Basketball Federation (VBF) to improve Vietnam’s basketball.

The support continued despite the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

On December 23, Viet Capital Bank, the VBF, and the Vietnamese national basketball team conducted an online talk to review their journey in 2021 and share some insight about their plans for 2022.

Information about the online talk on December 23, 2021 was posted on the Facebook pages of the VBF and VBA.

Van Thanh Khanh Linh, a representative of Viet Capital Bank, as well as national team captain Justin Young and members Nguyen Huynh Phu Vinh and Nguyen Anh Kiet were among the guests at the event.

This is the first online talk of the national team following their participation in the VBA Premier Bubble Games 2021.

At the event, fans had a chance to ask the guests several questions to better understand the team’s journey at the season.

At the end of the talk, national team coach Kevin Yurkus also sent a message to fans via a video.

The event was live-streamed on the Facebook page of the VBF, VBA, and the sponsors.
