Nguyen Thinh Hung, a former VBA player, has embarked on a fresh venture in Vietnamese sports with the Park Hang Seo International Football Academy.
May Academy Elementary & Middle School, chaired by Hung, recently conducted a collaboration signing ceremony with the football academy led by coach Park Hang Seo.
On August 30, Park and his team inaugurated the international football academy under his name, aiming to boost the development of school football in Vietnam.

During the event, Lee Dong Jun, vice-president of Park Hang Seo International Football Academy, and Nguyen Thanh Dat, a board member of May Academy, signed a memorandum of understanding, marking the initiation of a cooperative process, as stated by the academy.
The signing ceremony also featured Hung.
Brothers Hung, Dat, and Nguyen Phu Hoang comprised a notable trio of siblings who gained attention in VBA.

Among them, Hoang achieved significant success, clinching the VBA championship and earning the title of Domestic Player of the Year in 2018.
Dat, a tenacious forward, also emerged as one of the tournament’s prominent domestic players.
Hung recently graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from the Academy of Journalism and Communication.

During the August 30 ceremony, Park emphasized that the cooperation aims to contribute to the development of Vietnamese football.
The South Korean coach expressed gratitude to his fans and articulated his vision for the coexistence, competition, and equitable development of both professional and school football.
He envisions that his new academy will pave the way for the future development of Vietnamese football.
