Vietnamese fashion expands global reach

Vietnamese fashion has surpassed numerous significant milestones, with a series of outfits made by Vietnamese designers taking the global stage.
A growing number of international celebrities are choosing to wear gowns and outfits by Vietnamese designers like Cong Tri, Do Manh Cuong, Chung Thanh Phong, Le Thanh Hoa, and Nguyen Minh Tuan, among others.
The global rise in popularity of Vietnamese fashion is being driven by a variety of high-profile fashion shows, including Vietnam International Fashion Week, the Elle Fashion Show, the Dep (Beautiful) Fashion Show, and SR Celebrating Local Pride.
In particular, the Vietnam International Fashion Week has become a highly-anticipated event among fashionistas and fashion enthusiasts.
This year’s edition of the biannual Vietnam International Fashion Week, which is held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, marks the 10th anniversary of the international integration of Vietnamese fashion.
Trang Le, the founder of the event, described the fashion week as an effective bridge connecting Vietnamese fashion with the global fashion scene.
“We expect to turn Vietnam into a nation with a developed fashion industry,” she underlined.
Besides, the SR Celebrating Local Pride show is regarded as a platform for young, talented designers to showcase their creativity.

Vietnamese fashion undergoes 30 years of development
Over the past three decades, Vietnamese fashion has made great strides, given the global popularity of ensembles designed by the Vietnamese.
Many international stars have been spotted wearing Vietnamese designs on red carpets, on stage, and in music videos.
Among the Vietnamese designers whose creations have been embraced by global celebrities are Cong Tri, Do Manh Cuong, Quynh Paris, Le Thanh Hoa, Chung Thanh Phong, Nguyen Minh Tuan, Do Long, Tran Phuong Hoa, Tra Linh, and Anh Thu.
In their efforts to globalize Vietnamese fashion, young designers like Tran Hung, Phan Dang Hoang, and Diep Yen have showcased their collections at prestigious international fashion events, including London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and Milan Fashion Week.
It is the determination, creativity, and passion of these Vietnamese designers that have propelled Vietnamese fashion onto the world stage.
