An exhibition of 700 cameras over the decades is open to the public for free in Hau Giang Province, southern Vietnam.

The cameras are displayed around the space of a coffee shop on Le Hong Phong Street in Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province.

Nguyen Hoang Nam, the owner of the camera collection, has a passion for art, especially classic and modern cameras.

As a result, he has traveled through various places to buy classic cameras over the past decade.

Whenever he knew that an antique camera was being sold somewhere, he would come to see it.

He gradually accumulated funds and sought out veteran cameramen in various locations, including as far north as Hanoi, to amass a collection of 700 cameras from renowned brands such as Canon, Nikon, Yashica, Pentax, Mamiya, Ricoh, and Minolta.

Most of them are tens of years old, with his oldest camera being over 80 years old, Nam introduced his collection.

He exhibits the collection at Like Coffee and Tea to share his passion with his friends and relatives as well as tourists to Hau Giang Province.

He hopes visitors can sip hot coffee while seeing or holding the cameras in their hands.

As the cameras are displayed in an open space, he has to regularly clean them, Nam said, adding that many of the cameras are still working.
