On the last days of August 2013, Mr Stephen John Alexander – General Manager of Hanoi Daewoo Hotel shared with Wheres & Whats page of Tuoi Tre News a few thing about hotel industry in Vietnam nowadays and his hotel with its plan to be developed.

“The high standard hotel market in Vietnam has been increasing over the past ten to fifteen year. More and more international companies have been attracted to the Vietnamese market not only for the ever demanding transient travelers but also to meet the needs of the increasing numbers of high end corporate travelers coming into Vietnam to invest and provide services to the Vietnamese people who are also becoming more demanding for good quality hotels and the facilities they provide.

Hanoi has been at the fore front of a boon in high standard hotels, first led by the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel many followed which has enriched the capital city and focused attention not only on the city of Hanoi but the country. We plan on maintaining the targeted markets such as Japan, South Korea and European Union; attend international hospitality exhibitions and trade fairs to promote our hotel image to the world. We are constantly developing and training our staff especially the Sales & Marketing Team to outstanding 5 star standards. 

For the short term, our Lakeview Lounge on the top floor of the hotel has been re-launched where sublime sunsets can be viewed over Happy Hours, two for one drinks. We have recently opened our Bakery Shop at street level for easier access for our customers to purchase the freshest and finest breads and gateaux.”
