Vietnam’s budget carrier Vietjet is set to open two new routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Thailand’s Phuket and Chiang Mai, and is celebrating with a short term ticket sale.
Beginning December 15, the low-cost carrier will provide return flights between the southern Vietnamese city and Phuket every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
The flights will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 10:15 am and arrive in Phuket at 12:10 pm (local time).
The return flights take off at 1:05 pm (local time) in Phuket and land in Ho Chi Minh City at 3:10 pm.
The Ho Chi Minh City- Chiang Mai route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday beginning December 12th.
The flights will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 11:35 am and arrive in Chiang Mai at 1:30 pm (local time).
The return flight takes off at 2:20 pm (local time) in Chiang Mai and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 4:25 pm.
With the opening of the two additional routes, Vietjet will now be operating six separate routes to Thailand.
To welcome the new routes, Vietjet is offering 180,000 tickets priced from VND0 on three super promotional days October 25 to October 27 between 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
Promotional tickets will be valid for international routes beginning November 1, 2017 until May 31, 2018.
