The German Embassy in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Hanoi, will organize ‘Career Day – Explore Your Future,’ an event dedicated to showcasing opportunities for vocational training, work, and study in Germany, this weekend.

‘Career Day – Explore Your Future’ aims to provide valuable insights and opportunities for those looking to build their careers in Germany, alongside promoting fair and ethical migration practices, the embassy said in a press release on Wednesday.

The event is expected to be an excellent platform for prospective students, skilled workers, and anyone interested in vocational training to connect with experts and potential employers.

The Career Day will provide comprehensive information and support to individuals interested in pursuing vocational training, employment as skilled workers, or higher education in Germany.

It will feature contributions from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (German Development Cooperation - GIZ), the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the Goethe-Institut Hanoi.

These organizations will present a range of free-of-charge programs aimed at facilitating a smooth transition to a career in Germany.

Key highlights of the event include personal consultation sessions, interactive workshops, visa application consultations, study information, job interviews, and networking.

In addition to these activities, two panel discussions will be held in the Goethe-Institut’s hall, titled 'The New Skilled Immigration Act: Changes, Challenges, and Hands-on Experience' and 'Fair and Ethical Recruiting.'

Panelists will include representatives from the German Embassy, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, the Goethe-Institut, GIZ, the Department of Overseas Labor of Vietnam/Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, Vivantes Forum für Senioren (nursing homes), and the Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen (State Development Corporation of Thuringia).

Following the discussions, there will be a Q&A session for attendees to engage directly with the experts.

‘Career Day – Explore Your Future’ will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi at 56-58-60 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in Ba Dinh District.
