Lan Khue, the representative of Vietnam, has recently become the second runner-up and won the “Best Photogenic” Award of this year’s Asian Super Model Contest held in Nanning, China, from September 19-30.
Contestant from the host country Shu Ya Xie was crowned while Korean model Myeongjin Lee won the first runner-up title.
After winning the Potential Supermodel title at Vietnam Supermodel 2012, the 1.76m Lan Khue has been invited to many famous local fashion shows, including Elle, Dep (Beauty) Runway Show, Thoi Trang Dam Me (Fashion and Passion) and has also appeared on the cover pages of Elle, Golf, Mi Thuat (Fine Art), Life Style and Dep (Beauty) magazines. At the Asian competition, Khue was praised for her impressing face and posing skill.
The Asian Super Model Contest is open to young girls aged between 18 and 22.
Last year, Vietnamese Ninh Hoang Ngan won the Talent Award at the competition held in Japan.
In related news, Vietnam’s representative Ngoc Oanh became the third runner-up at the final night of the Supermodel International 2012 held on September 5 in Bangkok.
At the contest in which a South African was crowned, the Vietnamese contestant received the Best in Swimwear and Most Favorite titles.
