176 photos featuring cities around the world taken by German photographers will open late this month in the capital city of Hanoi.
Titled “The city – From The Becoming until The Decaying,” the exhibition will showcase the three-year journey 2010 of 18 photographers from the German agency OSTKREUZ to 22 cities including Tokyo, Manila, Lagos, Las Vegas, Berlin, Minsk and Gaza to captures people’s lives there. The program is part of the celebration for OSTKREUZ’s 20-year-anniversary.
Besides displaying photos, photographers Jörg Brüggemann and Ute Mahler will also give a lecture about the exhibition and conduct a workshop.
The exhibition will run from August 29 until September 14 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street and the Goethe-Institut Hanoi at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
