10-year-old Phuong My Chi, who has conquered a large number of fans after her sweet performances of folk songs at the reality show The Voice Kids Vietnam, has recently become the exclusive singer for overseas singer Quang Le’s company.

On October 14, Quang Le Entertainment held a press conference announcing its 2-year exclusive contract with Chi. Singer Quang Le informed that because My Chi is currently the financial pillar of the family, so he and his company will create the best conditions for her singing. The singer also said he will encourage Chi not only in music but also her schooling.

Chi’s debut album titled “Que em mua nuoc lu” (My hometown in the flood season) is expected to be released late this month. Besides, We Lounge in HCMC also signed a contract with Quang Le Entertainment to have My Chi performing exclusively for them.

At her first performance at the reality show in October, Chi stunned the show’s coaches with her performance of the song “Que em mua nuoc lu.” The young contestant received a lot of compliments as the coaches believed she had real talent and turned their chairs to see her. Chi said she loved sweet and peaceful melodies so she decided to pick up a southern traditional.
