A festival dedicated to ethnic groups’ culture and art is set to run in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on Saturday and Sunday.

The festival, “Am Vang Dai Ngan” (The Jungle Resonance), will take place in the province’s Buon Ma Thuot City.

Highlights will include displays of ethnic people’s costumes, exhibits of photos, cultural items, working tools, folk game competitions, and a cuisine fest.

Performances provided by five art troupes from neighboring provinces will showcase the ethnic communities’ distinctive cultural and art identity and promise to delight tourists.

According to the organizer, the country’s northwestern region and the Central Highlands retain much of ethnic minority communities’ culture.

The Central Highlands is also home to the widest variety of ethnic peoples in the country.
