Nguyen Cong Tri, a Vietnamese designer renowned at home and abroad, continues to impress the world’s fashion industry as another international pop star has chosen to wear his designs for her ongoing worldwide tour.
British singer Rita Ora has become the latest big international personality to cooperate with Tri, joining in the list that includes singers Katy Perry, Rihanna and Gwen Stefani, actresses Kate Bosworth and Katherine McNamara, and Victoria Secret model Josephines Kriver.
According to Tri, who works as chief designer at his own brand CONG TRI, after his debut at the 2019 New York Fashion Week in February, representatives of many international pop stars have contacted him, and Rita’s stylist was one of them.
“Rita’s representative contacted me right after the New York Fashion Week,” Cong Tri said.
The Vietnamese designer said he was at that time staying in the U.S. with a 15-member team and had all necessary materials and fabrics to attend the fashion week, so he was “immediately able to complete designs as per Ora’s request and delivered the final products in only three days.”
“Rita Ora did not request any considerable adjustments after receiving the costumes,” he added.

Rita Ora is one of the well-known British pop stars, mostly known for her single collaborating with Iggy Azalea Black Widow in 2014.
Born in 1990, Rita has had her own share of success with many awards including Bambi Award 2015 and Global award – Best pop 2017 and 2018. Her single Black Widow received BMI Pop Awards 2015, ASCAP Pop Music Awards 2015, and BMI Urban Awards 2015.
