-- Vietnam recorded three local cases of COVID-19 in Hanoi and northern Hung Yen Province and one imported infection on Friday morning, raising the national tally to 2,914 patients with 2,516 recoveries and 35 virus-related deaths.
-- All karaoke parlors, bars, and discotheques in Hanoi have suspended operations from 0:00 on Friday in the city’s latest COVID-19 response.
-- The Vietnamese government on Thursday ordered preparations for the scenario of 30,000 COVID-19 infections in the country as local travel demand is set to increase during the four-day public holiday from Friday to May 2 to celebrate Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).
