A man sustained numerous injuries and another person suffered fractured legs after a four-story house collapsed due to an unstable foundation in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.
At about 12:30 pm on Sunday, the house in Alley 133 of Binh Quoi Street in Binh Thanh District tumbled down.
The house was under renovation at the time of the incident, the administration of Binh Thanh District informed on Monday.
At the time, six workers, Ha Huu Thong -- the owner of the house -- his wife and daughter were inside the house.
Two of the people escaped from the house collapse, while the seven others were trapped inside.
Firefighters and rescuers in Binh Thanh District immediately rushed to the scene to save the seven victims.

Two seriously injured patients are in treatment at Gia Dinh People's Hospital in Binh Thanh District.
A 23-year-old man residing in southern Soc Trang Province suffered many injuries, including a broken left femur, lung contusions, and wounds to his head, chest, and neck, the hospital informed on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man endured fractured legs.
Four others with minor injuries were rushed to the Binh Thanh Hospital.
Doctor Dung Thi Kim Hanh, head of the emergency department at the hospital, said one of them had been discharged from the hospital, while three others are now in stable condition.
Their mental health is stable and their X-ray and CT-scan results showed no abnormalities.
The three will be released from the hospital on Monday.
