As a reader and a long-term partner of Tuoi Tre (Youth)newspaper, British Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Emily Hamblin congratulated its Vietnamese online version Tuoi Tre Online on the occasion of its 20th anniversary and hoped the two sides will have better cooperation in the future.

"On behalf of the British Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, I would like to express my sincere congratulations to Tuoi Tre Online on its special 20th anniversary,” she said in an email sent to Tuoi Tre News.

“In 20 years, you have developed from a news bulletin to be one of the top three leading online media outlets in Vietnam with high-quality news, including about the activities of the UK in Vietnam.

“Our iconic UK Festivals 2023, which celebrated 50 years of UK-Vietnam bilateral relations, as well as many diplomatic and trade activities have been more accessible to overseas readers thanks to you.

“We appreciate the Tuoi Tre team for your cooperation and wish you a lot of success for many years ahead!"
