The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has declared a week-long restriction on vehicle access to Le Loi Boulevard and Nguyen Hue Boulevard in District 1 to facilitate the organization of the third Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival Ho Do 2023.
From 9:00 pm on Tuesday to the end of December 26, all vehicle types are restricted from entering the car-exclusive lane on Le Loi, spanning from Nguyen Hue to Pasteur Street.
Vehicles still can access the mixed-use road section on Le Loi in both directions.
From 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on December 22 to 24, vehicles are not allowed on the sections of Le Loi from Pasteur Street to Dong Khoi Street and of Nguyen Hue from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street.

For travel from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street: Route 1 includes Le Thanh Ton Street - Dong Khoi Street - Ton Duc Thang Street, while Route 2 comprises Le Thanh Ton Street - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street - Ham Nghi Boulevard - Ton Duc Thang Street.
For travel from Ton Duc Thang Street to Le Thanh Ton Street: Route 1 involves Ton Duc Thang Street - Ham Nghi Boulevard - Pasteur Street - Le Thanh Ton Street, while Route 2 consists of Ton Duc Thang Street - Me Linh Square - Hai Ba Trung Street - Le Thanh Ton Street.

For travel from Pasteur Street to Dong Khoi Street: Le Loi Boulevard - Pasteur Street - Ly Tu Trong Street - Dong Khoi Street.
For travel from Dong Khoi Street to Pasteur Street: Dong Khoi Street - Le Thanh Ton Street - Pasteur Street.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport advises travelers to adhere to the guidance provided by traffic regulators, traffic police officers, or the road sign system.
Individuals and entities in the affected area requiring travel during the restricted period are advised to contact the municipal Department of Culture and Sports directly for assistance.
The Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival Ho Do 2023, the largest outdoor music event in the southern hub, is set to usher in the New Year from Friday through Sunday, showcasing vibrant performances by 10 international singers and music bands, accompanied by 14 Vietnamese artists.
Alongside the music extravaganza, Nguyen Hue Walking Street and the main streets in the city center will host various activities, including a food fair, a painting contest, folk games, a dance competition, and more.
