-- Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate Vingroup and founder of electric vehicle maker VinFast, on Monday announced the establishment of V-Green Global Charging Station Development Company (V-Green) in which he holds a 90-percent stake. V-Green's mission is to invest in the development of a charging infrastructure system that prioritizes supporting VinFast vehicles and propel Vietnam towards becoming one of the world's leaders in electric vehicle charging station density.
-- Police in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi said on Monday that they were keeping a Pakistani man and another from Iran in temporary custody as the duo used a fake Interpol ID card to appropriate money from foreign tourists in the capital city.
-- The Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam on Monday requested the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, the investor of the under-construction Long Thanh International Airport project, to cushion against dust from the construction site of the project.
-- The authorities in a ward in Hanoi have fined a street vendor VND150,000 (US$6) for attempting to overcharge a pair of foreign tourists VND200,000 ($8.5) for a small bag of fruit. The vendor has returned VND200,000 to the tourists.
