A bus was traveling on No Trang Long Street in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City on Monday morning when it suddenly veered into the opposite lane and slammed into a motorbike and a bicycle, injuring the two riders.
At 6:15 am, a route No. 31 bus driven by N.B.D., 50, collided with a motorbike ridden by 60-year-old H.K.C., a resident of Binh Thanh District, as well as a bicycle ridden by a man.
The impact caused both riders to fall onto the road.
The bus reportedly dragged the victims for about 10 meters before local residents rushed them to a hospital.
The motorbike was crushed beneath the bus and severely damaged, while the bicycle was thrown onto the sidewalk.
Authorities in Binh Thanh District are investigating the cause of the accident.
