Vietnam had a triumphant match day in football at the 2023 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia on Wednesday, with the men’s team beating Singapore 3-1 and the women’s team defeating Malaysia 3-0.

Two goals of the U22 Vietnamese men’s team were scored by striker Nguyen Van Tung in the 36th minute and Nguyen Thai Son in the 43rd minute, and an own goal was gifted by a Singaporean defender in the 80th minute.
