My Tan Fishing Port, one of the three largest ports in Ninh Thuan Province, located in south-central Vietnam, is bustling with fishing boats at the crack of dawn every day.
Various vehicles flock to the port, some 15 kilometers from Phan Rang City, at daybreak to transport fresh seafood to wet markets and restaurants in the province and other neighboring localities.
Ninh Thuan Province is endowed with abundant ocean resources such as anchovies and mackerel, among others.
Boats laden with fish quickly return to the port after their departure.

One of the traditional crafts in Thanh Hai Commune under Ninh Hai District, where the port is situated, is net weaving.
A net factory, which is employing both women and men, is located near the fishing port.
The job requires meticulousness and patience, but helps residents in My Tan Fishing Village stabilize their income.
Each net weaver can earn VND400,000 (US$16.2) a day.
