A new cave was recently discovered by residents in Truong Son Commune, Quang Ninh District, located in the north-central Vietnamese province of Quang Binh.
The cave, named Son Nu, is more than 1.5km long and features a 30-meter-high entrance.
The cave, about 1.5km walk from the western branch of Ho Chi Minh Road, is home to unique stalactites, one of which mimics a massive yellow and white curtain.

It takes around an hour to travel through the cave, at the end of which is Khe May Spring and a majestic primeval forest.
The People Committee of Truong Son Commune has proposed that Son Nu Cave be included in the area’s tourism services.
Quang Binh is home to numerous famous caves in Vietnam, including Son Doong, the world's biggest known cave, En Cave, Thien Duong Cave, and the Tu Lan cave system.
