A handful of well-known South Korean singers Friday arrived in Ho Chi Minh City for the M Live Most Amazing 2012 concert that kicks off tonight.
Upon their arrival, the artists, including renowned girl group Wonder Girls, boy bands JJ Projects and ZE:A and solo singers Huh Gak, Hini and San E, attended a media meeting, where they expressed impression on Vietnam and its people, as well as their interest in local cuisine, especially pho, the Vietnamese famous dish.
They were also joined by local representatives, pop singers Thu Minh and Van Mai Huong at the conference.
Held by Korean CJ E&M Media and Entertainment Company, the 3-hour concert is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea.
Taking place at Phu Tho Stadium in District 11, M Live Most Amazing 2012 is expected to attract around 5,000 spectators.
Another South Korea-themed concert to celebrate the anniversary will also enthral Hanoi K-pop fans on November 29.
Held at My Dinh Stadium, the K-Pop Festival 2012 - Concert in Vietnam will feature performance by singers Son Dambi and HyunA, and a number of star bands including SNSD, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Beast, Sistar, B.A.P, T-ARA, , KARA, Miss A, FT Island, Teen TOP and INFINITE.
