Supermodel Naomi Campell has surprised Vietnamese fans when paying a sudden visit to Vietnam, amid rumor of possible involvement in a modeling reality show.

The high-profile superstar sprang up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday morning and kept lowering her head while walking away from the scene without a word.

Naomi Campbell is a British model, actress, and singer.

Recruited at the age of 15, she established herself amongst the top three most recognizable and in-demand models of the late 1980s and the 1990s, and was one of six models of her generation declared supermodels by the fashion industry.

In addition to her modeling career, Campbell has embarked on other ventures, which include an R&B-pop studio album and several acting appearances in films and television, such as the modeling competition reality show The Face and its international offshoots.

Many said that the boss lady of The Face came to the Southeast Asia country in preparation for the upcoming season of the famed reality program, as its Vietnamese version is gearing up for the enrollment round.

A Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper source revealed that Campbell’s presence in Ho Chi Minh City is totally private with her schedule under wraps.

Quynh Trang, chairwoman of the Mutimedia Company which produces The Face Vietnam, consolidated this information by confirming the irrelevance between the two events.

“When I heard that Naomi was present in Vietnam, coinciding with our recruitment for The Face in Ho Chi Minh City on May 30, we also contacted her and hoped she could join the casting to inspire the young,” Trang said.
