A series of flights of the budget carrier Jetstar Pacific (JP) have been delayed and even canceled due to technical problems with the airliner’s planes. In talking with Tuoi Tre about the issue yesterday evening, a firm representative said two of the firm’s five planes broke down on Tuesday, June 25, and the repairs could not be completed that day. As a result, many flights involving the planes had to be delayed, some for up to six hours, or even cancelled, the representative said, adding that such delays and cancellations have affected hundreds of passengers.

Repairs are underway and it is expected that only one of the two faulty planes will resume operations today, so the carrier’s flight schedule will remain subject to changes, the representative added.  Jetstar Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Aviation Company is located at 112 Hong Ha, Ward 2, Tan Binh Dist, Ho Chi Minh City.
