Central Khanh Hoa province recently decided to raise fees to Nha Trang Bay and the hike will take effect from Apr 1, 2014.

Fees for swimmers or divers with kits within the water in Hon Mun are to increase from the current VND40,000 (US$1.9) to VND60,000. The price doesn’t include the glass bottom boat fees or diving kits.

Elderly and physically-challenged tourists will be charged only half the price. Only kids under 6 years old are admission-free.

Fees for visitors to Hon Mun island or the waters 300m from the island will double the current VND10,000 price. Kids between 6 and below 16 years old will be charged VND10,000 each.

Since 2003, Nha Trang Bay is a member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club, along with Ha Long Bay in northern Quang Ninh province and Lang Co in central Thua Thien Hue province.

Khanh Hoa province’s second largest bay after Van Phong Bay, Nha Trang Bay is an alluring tourist complex. The 507km2-wide bay is located in the center of the province and surrounded by 19 islands.

The bay is home to many scenic spots including Hon Chong, Hon Tre, Hon Mun and Hon Tam, which draw a large number of domestic and foreign tourists each year.
