-- Police in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang have arrested three people for transporting 18.6 kilograms of narcotics from Cambodia to Vietnam.
-- U.S. veteran Peter Mathews on Sunday handed over Vietnamese martyr Cao Xuan Tuat's diary to his family after keeping it for 56 years.
-- A male teacher in Ha Tinh Province, north-central Vietnam has been apprehended for allegedly sexually harassing a fifth-grade student during a private class at his house.
-- Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam is expanding its general hospital by building another campus with 1,000-1,500 beds, provincial chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan said on Sunday. The province has also worked with Can Tho S.I.S International General Hospital in the namesake southern city to develop a branch of the hospital specializing in stroke treatment in Khanh Hoa.
-- Bahamas-flagged cruise ship Silver Muse with 333 foreign travelers on board on Sunday arrived in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province. The passengers on the cruise ship are from Germany, Canada, Australia, Colombia, Thailand, and China.

-- My Khe Beach in the central city of Da Nang ranks eighth among the 10 most beautiful beaches in Asia, as voted by readers of travel site TripAdvisor. It is the only beach in Vietnam to be named in the list.
