Police in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long on Tuesday fined a 23-year-old woman over VND14 million ($550), suspended her driver’s license for three months, and impounded her motorcycle for seven days because of her performing stunts while riding on the road.

On June 27, the TikTok account H.B. posted a video of a woman named D.H.H. from Dong Thap Province, near Vinh Long Province.

In the video, she takes her hands off the handlebars of her motorcycle and performs a hand fan dance for 11 seconds while riding.

On July 4, another video was uploaded showing her riding the motorcycle with both legs to one side for four seconds.

Three days later, both videos were posted on Facebook.

H. admitted that she had uploaded the two videos, which were recorded by her friend, to social media.

She performed the stunts in Vinh Long Province.

Realizing that her actions were illegal, she removed the videos from her TikTok and Facebook accounts.

H. also advised other young people not to imitate her.
