The administration in Hanoi on Saturday inaugurated the Hanoi Children's Palace, which carries a price tag of over VND1.15 trillion (US$46.8 million).
The project was opened in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnamese capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Hanoi's Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Thi Tuyen said the Children's Palace is a key project for 2020-25.
The palace will host activities for children throughout Hanoi and Vietnam.
With a new look, modern architecture, a large area, closeness to nature, and smart devices, the children’s palace will promote its role as a cultural and sports center and meet the demand for studying, playing, competing in sports, and physical training for kids.
It will be a favorable environment to nurture and develop future talents.
